Red cloud prep...

We took off to red cloud this weekend to get things ready for the upcoming season.  Turns out, the guys worked, and Braxton and I did a lot of coloring and playing!!!  We have friends down there that we met thru hunting, and their little Boden is 1 1/2, Braxton just loved playing and running with him!!!  Boden loves taking you by the fingers and leading you everywhere!!!  So adorable!!!  It was fun to relax and be with the boys!!!  Only one turkey was shot though:)

Grandpa joined us for supper...and of course Braxton got a ride around town!   The fall weather is just starting...such beautiful nights!!!!

As fall gets here..so does harvest.  Braxton is really anxious to ride with Alan Bender in the combine!  We are so lucky that people want him to come along.  This year he may get a few rides in green, blue, and red tractors!!!   We can't wait!!!!

Now that he's home, I can talk about it!  I hate telling people when Brads gone.   He spent the last 4 days in Beaudette Minnesota on a fishing trip!   Sounds like the first day he was a little sea sick:( but he still had fun!   So...that led to 4 days of Braxton all to myself!!!  We had the typical work and school...but had a great weekend of fun, too!!!   I worked the concessions for LHF, and grabbed Braxton for the last 10 mins where he managed popcorn n mms and Gatorade!  Then, met Gpa n Gma Louis at Pizza Hut for supper, and hit up Uncke Dillons game in Spalding!   He had so much fun seeing Grandma Deb.  he doesn't see her often, but he sure acted like they were best buds!!!!

So I was in the shower, and Braxton was experimenting with the iPad..I come across this picture..his favorite app.it makes some interesting pictures!!!!

Helping me make pizza sauce, salsa, and chili base....he is  so into helping!!!!!!!

We made our pumpkin patch at Preister Excavating!   Starting to pick the crop!!!

Braxton told me last night, that "if someday we have a baby and Youre mowing And dad is spraying weeds, and the baby cries, he'll give it it's paci;). And I think there will be one boy and one girl mom".  ????!?????!!   Hmmmmmm

Braxton got to spend the weekend at Grandma n grandpa B.'s while Friday I had a Fun Night meeting (parish fundraiser) and Saturday we headed to tailgate with the Fischers.   Had a great time!!!   Always miss Braxton lie crazy...even if it is only a night! Grandparents day was Sunday.  Brax got to see Great Grandma Korth, and played great with cousin Emma!   Such monkeys in grandmas tree!!

Later we stopped at Grandpa Bobs...GrandmA was working.

Lovin the chart...

Braxton got a responsibility chart in the mail and he was thrilled to use it!!!  He was adamant about cleaning his room, and making his bed.  I love how he lined up a bunch of his animals!!  He really is a great helper!!!   Well see how long that lasts.......

School news...

I feel like I need to write everything down before I forget it!!  Hearing him talk about school just makes me smile!  He informed us that the boys bathroom is blue, and the girls is yellow...and he knows because the teacher told him, not because he went in there, because he didn't;)

Tonight before bed he said, "one, two, three, eyes on me mom". Haaa. I remember my teachers saying that!!!  And he got to go to recess he informd me!!!   I told him that was my favorite thing when I was little, he giggled.  

I ordered a new chart that came in today.  He was so excited to play along!!   He has beenFINALLY eating a little better!!!   First time in 4.5 years that he's actually asking for food, and more food!!!  Ahh..maybe he's growing up.   I think he has been going through a growth spurt...tonight he asked if we could stretch because his legs hurt....so we stretched out!!  And I think it helped.  He's been pretty cute with wanting to exercise with Brad and I.  He's always asking "is this good exercise ?"  Today he told me to look how big his guns were getting!!!!! Haaaaaa. That's Uncle Chad shining through on that comment.....
