Great Grandparents...

After sighting in guns...we threw on the Halloween costume a few days early and went trick-o-treating!
Braxton and Great Gma Korth
He said, "look mom, I'm almost as tall as her!"
 Great Gma & Gpa Frauendorfer
 And Uncle Roger

They had Trick or Trunk at church that evening!  So much fun!

Of course just the head wasn't enough...we had to make a body!

WINNER WINNER!!

This lucky little boy won $600 at the Humphrey Bazaar to Cabelas!  (good thing I bought a quilt since I didn't win)
When asked what he wanted to buy, he said a gun.  I've never seen Brad so ANXIOUS to go shopping!  We went to Omaha and let him pick out a few toys, and the gun he got was a 243.  He let me use it deer hunting this year...!!
Daddy had to ride the ferris wheel with him at Scheels...mom is scared! (yes, we went to Cabelas and Scheels)
We had to work a volleyball game.  This is Marley Hall and Braxton. (classmates)
And the ninja turtle outfit came....

He was at Gma & Gpa Busselman's one night and they sent this!  Brad swears they hung him up, but Gma just caught him in action jumping!!!
 Mom's driving is scary....
 Starting to paint pumpkins....
Of course he picks a ninja turtle....
I think we did pretty good!!!

October 13, 2014

I was packing up Friday  night to do hair for a wedding Saturday.  I told Braxton a few times to settle down, and then it happened.  My traveling mirror fell and shattered.  He was so crushed!  Before I could speak, he put himself into time out and then we went home and as soon as we went home he went to his room.  He knew he messed up.  Later, he came out and made this.  He asked me to show it to the bride, and tell her he was sorry she didn't have a mirror for her wedding hair.  (of course Jaycee Weidner-bride) couldn't keep it...Braxton can't part with any of his drawings! I was so impressed with his huge heart!!!
If I recall, he wasn't feeling well....
 Feels fine here, though!
Big farmind day!!   He got to ride with Alan Bender!!!

 Mr Braxton at work!
Went out to the J in Albion for bosses day....
 Who is going to pay??!?!

 This kid!  He's hilarious!!
 Caught!!!!

Amazing day for the zoo!
 Getting taller!

Can you see it?!  Braxton waited and waited for a butterfly to land on him!  It finally did!(shoulder) He was so proud!!

October 2014

Now that we are a pro at this face painting thing, he allowed them to paint his face at the Humphrey Bazzar.
Every year I hope to win the quilt, this year I just decided to purchase one!  WE ALL LOVE IT!!
Someone especially loved it the moment we got home!
 These Two!
Grandpa was a "tree" as he put it...HAAAAA!

Sept 25, 2014 BIKE DAY!!!

What I don't have a picture of...just video, is Braxton learned to ride his bike without training wheels today!!!  He's asked for months to take the trainers off, but honestly, the child can't ride his bike even with them on!  Finally, one Thursday we come to the shop and we start taking the wheels off.  Brad wasn't impressed because he knew he wasn't ready.  I totally agreed, but we were going to practice and attempt to learn.  SO, we (Braxton and I) take them off as Brad stood arms crossed and glared..HA...we get them off, and Braxton hops on.  He pedals out the shop over head door with me holding onto him.  I had given him the speech of falling down and getting back up and etc....Well, I didn't tell him, but I let go, braacing myself for the fall...and GUESS WHAT?!??!  There wasn't a fall!!!!  He pedaled right out that door and kept going!  I was screaming, jumping up and down, while Brad stood in astonishment!  HAPPY DAY!!!!   It did take a little practice starting and stoping with brakes, but he mastered it!  For the next few weeks he would ride his bike along me while I ran.  Such fun.  So proud of him!!!

There was an old house that needed burnt down on the edge of town, so we went to check it out, and Braxton got his picture taken with the Fire Chief!
 He looks so big....
 and long....
How much is that Monkey in the window??!?!
Max Stenger and Braxton at the football game...
First weekend in October we put on our first ever Color Splash (color run)  Our goal was 35, we had over 70!   It was a huge success!   Hoping to make it an annual thing!  Of course it had to be 34 degrees that morning...but we took the sunshine!
Our awesome crew!  Sara Stenger, Cindy Reichmuth, Myself, and Danielle Herchenbach and the boys!
