The boys took me out for my birthday

Braxton asked for help to make wings.  I said when I'm done with dishes.  He couldn't wait, and I turned around to this!!   He loves to make things, including using tape!!!

They got me a DQ ice cream cake!!!   Every year they bake me a double layer chocolate cake, except our oven is in our living room due to getting a new floor.....

Grandpa Bob treated us to the circus in Columbus.  

Dad went to get popcorn, Braxton told us to stay put, and came back....with a sword and giraffe.  Grandpas are the best!!!!

With our table in the garage, this is his new eating area...with mr giraffe. 

Braxton has been making all sorts of things!   He last made a robot out of himself with a box at Grandpa B.s.   Grandpa John has been helping watch Braxton after daycare while we finish up at work and meetings.   We are running out of room for these projects.....

Our floor had started to buckle, and after months of waiting, they attempted to install a floor..that ended up being faulty, not once, but twice, and a third time, fourth time was the wrong floor, but the 5th one just may do......it's been a long 2 months.......   Hoping it's finished now!!   The locking mechanism wasn't going well for the installer, so it's now glued....time will tell, right?!   So glad to have my Terrain out of storage, my oven out of my living room, and my kitchen table back inside the house, and my counter tops....well, my counter tops are still a disaster!   Who am I kidding?!!!

Valentines day overload!!

Our owls were a success!   Glad there was only 13 classmates, and cousins to do!  They were time comsuming!!

Whilst cleaning Brads bathroom, I come out to this little fellow working out. 

He looks upset, but really wasn't.  That's he spot where he eats;)  perfect little snack place. I told him he looks like a little boy who just got into trouble. 

I took Braxton and his buddy, Gavin, to the lego movie.  The screen bulb overheated and the movie quit 20 mins into it:(.  Bummer.  The boys are pretty easy going and didn't seem to mind.

Braxton actually wanted to write out his valentines.  He told me just to write all the names and he could take it from there.  He did fantastic!!

Cheesy smile:) his boat he made at school?!  The 2nd & 3rd graders got to help the, decorate their boxes.  He was excited Sage Frauendorfer got to help him!!  (Yea...my snowman in the background is now put away)

This was only schools candy.  He then got candy from cousins, gmas, gpas, friends  at daycare.  Ugh. Tooooooo much!!!!

So, he didn't want a haircut, so I trimmed around the ears and neck and spiked it.  He hates his hair spiked.  So I thought once he saw how long it was he would let me cut it, nOPe!!  That's is 10,000 calorie kiss from aunt Kelly!

We opted to not make 30+ more daycare treats, so we made a huge tote of popcorn  and mms for movie time. 

When Braxton got up he asked, " daddy, what did you get me for valentines day?!?"  Um.... Way to pull through daddy!!

Snow!!!!!!!

Braxton woke up with a terrible runny nose, high fever, and crabbiness!!!!  It was our first weekend to stay home and it was a Bummer he was sick, but thankful we had no where to go and didn't miss anything!!!

Scary, but I look worse than my sick patient!!!

At one point he said he felt like he was dying...I'm assuming that's pretty miserable?!  Poor fella. 

We started on our valentines bags!!!!   No clue what will go in them...but the bags are coming along!!!

So!!!   It finally snowed!!!!   And didn't melt within minutes.  We weren't able to sled Saturday due to Brax being sick...and it wasn't really enough snow, either.

We rednecked it!!!!  It was only7 degrees out!!!!

I love how bundled he is!   Like little Eskimos!!!

And tomorrow is a late start...which means school from 12:30-3:25 instead of 8-11.  He's SUPER excited for no nap tomorrow!!!  I think that'll make going to daycare a little easier!!  I feel like by the time he finally starts to enjoy daycare he will not be gong anymore!!!

We have this "thing" gong in at our house lately.  We have to raise our hand if we want to put Braxton to bed and who gets to read to him is chosen by the person who is jumping up and down screaming "pick me pick" the loudest....I typically win, but tonight I let Brad do the teeth brushing/ flossing, ointment applications (for exzema), book reading and glass of water getting.   I'm taking the night off;) to catch up the blog of course!!!

I'm excited to enjoy our last few free weekends!!    Soon enough it'll be work on Saturdays for dances, weddings, prom....alumni coming up and we work it for booster club...then the kickoff of weddings and camping will be here!!!   I'm so anxious to see our camper again!!!!!!!!

Where is January?!?!

O man. Good thing there's a day left in January for me to keep y'all up to date!!!

I started my year off with my most favorite client!!!  

This was all the snow we got, so we toom advantage of it!  We sleded down to the pond...

For some ice fishing.  Once  again, mom -0, dad-?, Braxton-13?

So...Brad got me this for my birthday!!!!!!!   What a guy!!!!!!    (I may have helped pick it out...load it..and write the check for it....but he agreed to it!!). Made shopping easy for him he said!

I can't remember what this face was about?!!

Well....here's the story here.   Braxton asked for a bear.  I went to get the paper, and he tells me, no, a real bear with needle and thread.   Hmmm.  Neither of which I have.  So, we went and bought, black fabric, red thread, sailor buttons, fishes, and stuffing  and here is what we got!!!  You can't see it, but he cut out the pocket, I sewed it (if that's what ya call it) and he put the fishes in the pocket.  Because bears eat fish you know!!!   I have never even sewed a button, so quit judging!!!!!!!

January was busy for us. We were head of our parish fundraiser, fun night.  It was. A LOT of time and hours, and hours away from Braxton, but it's over now and I can say we successfully topped all years with over $114,800raised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   There's no taking my smile away!!!!!

I felt bad Braxton was shifted all over for weeks now (to which he enjoyed, but still) so today was HIS day!!!   I'll post again with pictures!!!!!!!
