Keep fingers crossed...

The 1pm feeding of pedialyte went good...the 4pm of pedialyte went great as well. At 7pm the Dr gave us the go ahead and start the formula...daddy gave him 2 ounces and got good burps out of him :) :) :) (while mommy headed for a nap....) and again around 10:15pm he got another 2 ounces...he is taking is good...no spit up, and doesn't appear to have an upset stomach...it is 12:40am right now, and he will get his next feeding at 1am...
He for the first time since Thursday, is actually out of our arms and laying in a crib! He has CONSTANTLY been held by someone for the past 6 days...we are well aware that this precious baby is going to be spoiled!!!!! He is taking to the crib like a champ!!!!!! Better go get ready for feeding. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all of you that are praying for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Brad & Amanda ~ so glad to hear Braxton is moving in a positive direction. I was so scared!! What a little "tuffy" already! We have been praying like crazy ever since we heard. Way to trust your instincts and be persistent in having him checked out. Always go with your "gut". Hope you have a super day.. if the worst to come out of this is a slightly spoiled Braxton... oh well.. it was bound to happen anyway! Hugs and Love, Theresa, Jim & kids

    Thank you so much for keeping us updated with these posts (so I don't have to keep bugging you with text messages :o) We are soooo glad things are going smoothly.     So happy to hear this!! Thanks for the blog to keep everyone posted. He's a tough little guy, already looking for adventure by taking a helicopter ride at such a young age...your going to be in for some fun when he turns 2 :)! Seriously though, relieved to hear the positive news, I'm glad you got him down here to Omaha, Children's is fantastic and when he leaves there you can be confident that he's healthy!! He'll still be in our prayers!!
