BIG WEEKEND!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was jam packed full of fun stuff! It started Friday... Braxton got to meet his Aunt Jennifer and Cousin Conner for the first time, and they got to watch him the entire day while mommy and daddy worked :( but they had a blast...by the looks of the pictures I am seeing!
Friday night we attended the Relay 4 Life at Pawnee Park. It was hot, but amazing to see all the people pull together and raise so much money! I had a 'spray paint' booth set up. I made up some patterns and painted hair most of the night (thanks Daddy for taking care of Braxton!) A HUGE thank you to all my helpers who took time out of their busy schedules to help paint some hair! I wish I had pictures to show...we had colored rainbows, polk-a-dots, hearts, stars, cancer ribbons, flowers...stripes, you name it, we painted it!!! It was a blast!
Saturday we prepped all day for baptism that was on Sunday. Braxton's special day went well. We got to hang out with family all day!!! Its was GREAT~

On June 19th we got another nephew!!!!!! Harper James Preister!!! The little 6lb 8ouncer makes our baby Braxton look HUGE!!! Here are some pictures of the handsome little fellow!!!

BIG BOY!!!

We've got a BIG BOY on our hands! We went to Omaha Wednesday for a follow up appointment for Braxton. He weighs over 11 pounds!!! (and is only 7 1/2 weeks old!) The appointment went very well. The Dr gave us the good news that there will be no long term effects or anything from his surgery! He will grow to be a normal, awnry boy! What a relief!!! I do have to brag about how well he did! He slept the whole way to Omaha, and even while mommy shopped a bit! He did great on the way home, too! I told Brad I'm going to make him into a good little shopper...bring him up right! ha ha

~We were very confident that his appointment would go well, but it is always so nice to be reassured! The Dr's at Children's are SO amazing!!! We are SO thankful for them!!!

We have a little bit of a 'thumb sucker' on our hands! While we think it's cute and take his picture, we then take it out...as cute as it looks, someday we realize it will be easier to take a paci away verse his thumb!

FIRST BATH!!!

Braxton got to enjoy his 1st bath last night!!! His umbilical cord would not come off, so Tuesday of this week we went in to the pediatrician and had it painlessly taken off. They thought maybe with all he went through his body just wouldn't shed it, so they helped it along. He has been enjoying his sponge baths everyday for the last 5 1/2 weeks, but he was READY for the tub! Here are some pictures!
