BUSTED!!!
Caught in yet another place he shouldn't have been! It's been interesting watching our house become less cluttered with 'our' things, and more full of TOYS!!! There are certain things we have had to put up and out of site, and some things just got packed away to storage, and some even given to good will. While we decided we were keeping the Grandfather clock, we try everyday to tell him "NO" when he approaches it...obviously he got away this time!
Pretty excited..he found his paci...(it's going to be hard to ditch that thing in a few months!)

His 1st pair of cowboy boots!!!

Ahh...enjoying is first sucker!!! (with the help of his father!)

Getting to hang out with Uncle Dillon

STILL loves this wagon!!! Please pray for warm weather..I cannot wait to go outside!!!!!!!

Ahh...he had a hard day!

I'm not sure who was mroe excited about this pop-up tent...

He is constantly crawling in and out of this thing!
Hmm...hope he doesn't really need these ever!!!

Daddy picked this outfit today...and then he told Braxton when he grows up, he has to work at B&B Repair...this was Braxton's reaction...

...and then Mommy told his Daddy was joking...and this was his next reaction...
...I think daddy wanted to take him to work with him...and Braxton was ready!!!

We have a 18 lb, 2ft 4 1/2 inch tall little boy!!! :) ....who is becoming very 'into EVERYTHING!' From pulling himself up and ripping everthing off the fridge, to cleaning out the cupboards that are within reach, to surfing along furniture and letting go, to trying to climb into the bath tub fully clothed, to trying to get within reach of the toilet (to throw who knows what in there!), to trying to climb continuously up your leg, and my new favorite-he crawls under something and cannot figure out how to get out, or why he can't stand up under it......get the idea?!?!?!? He's EVERYWHERE:) and SO much FUN!!! He is still constantly saying, ' da da da', and an occasional, 'mum', and the typical jabber that we are yet to figure out! It's been exciting watching him walk behind and push his toys all over the place. He is your typical boy who randomly falls down over nothing, has bumps and scrapes already. We are hoping that 2010 will bring less germs to our house. It's so hard to keep track of how many colds he has had now..11 I think, but we are thankful it's nothing major. He always manages to get over whatever he has, and over it just in time to get the next illness...Our latest...pink eye and an ear infection...

enjoying a car ride with dads help
instead of going to bed, he decided to surf his toy box, and this is what we came up with

big boy pulling himself up to anything he possibly can

this is when he had pink eye and ear infection..he found 3 paci's he tried to jam into his mouth..all at once!
little chef helping (or teaching) mom how to cook...and here we go with the faces. This is his sad face after being told "NO!" He is great for pouting out that bottom lip!and Oh so HAPPY:)
had to show off that bottom tooth...there are 2 on top, and the other bottom one is slowly coming in
...and... not sure what face we have here!?

Hard to believe that Braxton will be 9 months old this week!!! He hasn't taken off walking alone yet, but he is getting quicker at pulling himself up and surfing along and around furniture! Brad is SO excited...Braxton has been saying "da da da da da" CONSTANTLY!!! I tried telling Brad that it's common to be their first word, but Brad thinks it means 'he' is the favorite:) ...time will tell.....
We recently replaced our living room window and rearranged some furniture, so Braxton thinks he is pretty cool that he can climb up to the window and look out...in the daylight he has a perfect view of daddy's shop~

...sorry Chad, he IS playing with a dodge:(

This chair is just perfect for the 3 of them.....Charli, Braxton, and Harper (wanting to play dominos...)
...and yet another wagon ride thru the Busselman's little house
Do you suppose he has enough toys at his fingertips to keep him entertained?!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Although the new year has just begun, we are experiencing lots of new and exciting things already!!! Braxton has begun to pull himself up on everything and quickly learned how to get back down as well. He is surfing along all the furniture. There are the certain occasions where he pulls himself up on Grandma's end table and looks as if he is doing pull ups, or chin ups because he can't get down(sorry, don't know my exercises) He is constantly chasing after us and pulling himself up our pant legs to get our attention...Brad says he needs a little brother to play with, I say he needs more toys!:) He has learned to drink juice from a sippy cup, and is starting to feed himself things without gagging on them! Ahh...lots going on in Braxton's world...enjoy the pics!

Go HUSKERS!!!
We watched the game at the Nelsen's...where Braxton found himself a new buddie, Halie!
...doesn't look too sure about this...

It seems the holidays come and go so fast! I was a little sad with the weather this year...it was my 'turn' to host the Preister Christmas at our house for the first time!!! I even went as far as making a homemade New York Cheesecake (which am sad to say I ate most of it!) But, I was very thankful I was 'stranded' with my boys!!! On Christmas Eve my dad and Jody were able to make it for a very quick supper and they of course had to stay while Braxton opened a few gifts from them!!! They were crazy for coming in this weather, but we were very thankful they came!:) On Christmas day we managed to make it to Brad's parents...did I mention thru a field is how we got home?!?!?!? Although they only live 2 short blocks away, there was a massive drift that caused us to go a mile or 2 out of our way...but we made it for a nice lunch, presents, and some play time. Luckily we ventured home when we did...you see, we lost power from 8pm til 8am, which is NOTHING compared to how long some were out...but, lucky once again, we have our wood burner that kept our house to a whooping 73 degrees!!! We spent most of Saturday playing with A LOT of new toys Santa brought us...and Sunday was a major snow removal day for I believe the entire town of Lindsay!!! We hope everyone had a great holiday, and Best Wishes for 2010!!!

Braxton won a stocking full of goodies from the Newman Grove Bank!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for making it over!!!...and THANKS for my presents!

Playing with his little people fire truck and blocks from Gma and Gpa P!
He was pretty excited about his new tooth brush!!! Which is coming in handy since he got his top left front tooth!!!
This little monkey thinks he needs to stand as he does everything!!!

Another new toy from Santa! Good thing this one is meant to walk behind!
The 3 of us...

One of his favorite new toys from Santa!

he is pretty proud of his new wagon from Gpa and Gma P...we take many rides thru the house daily...if you ever want a ride, stop by!

little cutie!
some of the snow drifts at our shop..if you can see off into the distance, the old tow truck is buried to the cab!!!

..another drift blocking the shop door...

...another wagon ride!!!

...and he is OUT!!!
Thanks Jesse for my hats...GO HUSKERS!!!!!!!!!!!

So exhausted...this is how he fell asleep on daddy!!!
