Weddings still...

Brads cousin, Halee got married in Omaha.   It's our last of many for the year!!!    So many to look forward to next year already!    Braxton had Wild Wild West dress up at preschool....so the cowboy hat continues....

A little pregame before the season opens this weekend!!!

Braxton went to the Columbus dentist last week.  He has two shadows between his back bottom molars.   So, we decided to head to Lincoln Pediatric Dentristy and have them taken care of!    I was shocked he didn't even ask once when they're ok him back without me following!   They say he did great.   They also told me how well mannered he is and just how funny he is!!!!    He told me his fingers and toes tickled;) they said after the laughing gas he wouldn't even notice the shots.   Guess they know what they are talking about.  I'm glad I didn't try to explain things before we went.  I probably would've gave too much info that wasn't necessary!!!!!!   So, FLOSSING has become a must at our house!!!!    Times like now, I realize the downfall to no dental insurance.    I love being self employed, but there are days like today it bums me out to work 40+ hours and not have full benefits.   But, at 830am, as I sit here not at work yet, I'm reminded how fortunate I really am to be my own boss!!!!!

He went and got his bible and drew Jesus;) he is very into learning about Jesus!

Just resting up before trick or treatin!!!!!    He got to go to Benders, Gma Debs, and Gpa Bobs with mommy....then Great Gma Korth, Gpa Busselmans, Ricks, Genes, Fred's, and many more with daddy while mom went to Uncle Dillons playoff game!   Win!!!!!!

Helping make treats for preschool!!!!   After his preschool party, classmate Logan Wiese had another party!!!!   Luckily Gma B was around after, we skipped daycare and partied again!!!

Brad and his dad went down to the hunting ground is weekend....so it's date night for Braxton and I!!!!!!!  We are watching planet 51 (in our football gear of course!!).

October busy-ness!!

Brad went with some friends to the husker game this weekend in Minnesota!!(jealous!)  I stayed home to do a wedding party (congrats Lynzee Chris!!!) and also to be my little brothers confirmation sponsor.  Such an honor!!!  Before Brad left, Braxton wanted to make daddy a picture.  He asked me to write, "I love you dad"  on a piece of paper.  Braxton can write anything if he has an example....so, I write it, but he tells me..."mom, daddy's name starts with a B, not that other letter"(d). So, he asks, " mom, what comes after B,!?"  So, without writing it, I just tell him, and this is what I turn to see!!!!;)

We have definitely missed daddy while he has been gone!!!!!!

Braxton was tired of waiting at the shop for my client, so he started on my hair!

We've been slowly skipping a nap here and there when it works for Brad and I to do that.  We do have to "remind" him that when's he gets crabby, he will go to nap.....so, it's working a little.....

A whole lot....

Whole lot of everything going on around here!  Braxton is LOVING preschool!!!   We had our first parent teacher conference!!   I told Brad I would go while I know he's still a good kid, and Brad can go when he's naughty in high school......  He can recognize Bb, Tt, Xx, Cc, Pp, Aa!   It's so cute watching him be able to pick the letters out when he sees them..at the grocery store, church hymnal, the shop, etc!!

So lately, we are I Halloween mode...

He got this from the Humphrey bazaar!  He also won $50!!!   He wants to take Grandpa Bob and his friend Tucker out to eat!   So sweet!!

Go Red...(for women) Go Blue Uncle Dillon

The Gals I used to work with, invited me to a banquet at divots, called Go Red for Women.  It's a fundraiser and awareness to heart disease in women.   They had great inspirational speakers...even brought a few years to your eyes, (ehhh food), yummy drinks, and what a great time out with the girls!  I am labeled lately as a "homebody" I'm finding out...so little by little, I'm venturing out!  It was so fun to hang out with the girls!!

Braxton is sooooo into Legos!  He made this combine all by himself!  I love his imagination!  He's been hanging his school work all over his walls in his room lately.  I figured it was time to invest in sticky tack, instead of all that tape!  School is going great!   I guess there was a little issue at daycare last week.  Braxton wasn't wanting to enter daycare from school.....so....we are currently working on that...and so far this week is great!   No tears!   For some reason he just really dislikes daycare:( breaks me into pieces that he has to go there....knowing he is so sad there.....

On the upside, Braxton spent the day last week at benders farm!!!  He got to ride in the brand new combine!!!   With a built in fridge!!!  Later, took a ride in the semi!!!!    During all of this...I was at home mowing!!!   I wasn't "allowed" to go someone told me.....  And the best part, he came home with bags full of beans and corn...o yay:(   It makes such a mess in the house, but he loves it!!!!

Uncle Dillon had a GREAT game against clarkson Howells on Monday!   Braxton looks up to him so much...he was excited to take a picture with him...but wondered why he smelled so bad!!!   They won...can't remember the score....18-16 I believe?!  It's awesome to watch Dillon play!!!  ESP because he is such a great player!  I want exactly sports-oriented, so it's fun to watch talent!!!   Go #8!!!!!

Red cloud prep...

We took off to red cloud this weekend to get things ready for the upcoming season.  Turns out, the guys worked, and Braxton and I did a lot of coloring and playing!!!  We have friends down there that we met thru hunting, and their little Boden is 1 1/2, Braxton just loved playing and running with him!!!  Boden loves taking you by the fingers and leading you everywhere!!!  So adorable!!!  It was fun to relax and be with the boys!!!  Only one turkey was shot though:)

As fall gets here..so does harvest.  Braxton is really anxious to ride with Alan Bender in the combine!  We are so lucky that people want him to come along.  This year he may get a few rides in green, blue, and red tractors!!!   We can't wait!!!!

Mommy n Me

Now that he's home, I can talk about it!  I hate telling people when Brads gone.   He spent the last 4 days in Beaudette Minnesota on a fishing trip!   Sounds like the first day he was a little sea sick:( but he still had fun!   So...that led to 4 days of Braxton all to myself!!!  We had the typical work and school...but had a great weekend of fun, too!!!   I worked the concessions for LHF, and grabbed Braxton for the last 10 mins where he managed popcorn n mms and Gatorade!  Then, met Gpa n Gma Louis at Pizza Hut for supper, and hit up Uncke Dillons game in Spalding!   He had so much fun seeing Grandma Deb.  he doesn't see her often, but he sure acted like they were best buds!!!!

So I was in the shower, and Braxton was experimenting with the iPad..I come across this picture..his favorite app.it makes some interesting pictures!!!!

We made our pumpkin patch at Preister Excavating!   Starting to pick the crop!!!

Braxton told me last night, that "if someday we have a baby and Youre mowing And dad is spraying weeds, and the baby cries, he'll give it it's paci;). And I think there will be one boy and one girl mom".  ????!?????!!   Hmmmmmm
